Theresa Messmer

Theresa is a global project coordinator at Universidad Loyola Andalucía, Spain. Her work focuses on deepening the collaboration of Jesuit higher education institutions through the power of global networks. With the EJP and its partner Loyola Andalucía she is collaborating in the hosting of a platform for the community of the Economy of Francesco, a movement of young economists and entrepreneurs with the goal of reforming the global economy to be more
sustainable, just, and inclusive.

Theresa gained study abroad experiences in Spain and in the United States and graduated in Political and Social Studies from the Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg in Germany. She is interested in Greenwashing consumer behavior and the collective transition to sustainable lifestyles through cultural change. She is learning about Integral Ecology, degrowth and ecocentrism to lead a positive change in the reconnection with the natural world.
