Spencer Duncan

Spencer performs research on local environmental issues and opportunities and helps manage a global network of Jesuit universities in understanding the foreseeable evolution of urbanization, water infrastructure, deforestation, protected areas, etc. within the universities’ sphere of influence. He joined EJP because of his interest in environmental action and the power of collaboration. Having earned his bachelor’s degree in Geography – Urban and Regional Planning from Brigham Young University, Spencer is particularly aware of the impact places have on quality of life and the availability of opportunities. Spencer is currently pursuing his masters in Public Policy from Georgetown’s McCourt School. With this degree he hopes to take evidence-based research at the intersection of urban and environmental policy and mobilize essential networks to increase global equity.
